Gyranda Troy T308 (P)
A young sire with an extraordinary dataset. Semen has been utililised throughout Australia, Brazil and New Zealand. Semen is available for export.
The first of his calves were born in 2024 and will sell in 2026. They have verified the low birthweight, high growth data that help make him the highest indexing sire in Santa Gertrudis for two out of the three indexes (Terminal and Breeding Production).
Slick coated, and deep from shoulder to flank. A robust poll bull with a tidy sheath and sirey outlook. He was born to a first calf heifer as a 31kg calf.
Rare, if not impossible, to find a combination of EBVs like this: Birthweight (top 2%) combined with growth (top 1%); Muscle (Top 1%) combined with fat (Top 10%) in a medium framed, efficient package with lower Mature cow weight and excellent fertility data (Top 10% of the breed). A curve bender by any standard, and the type of bull we may well see the Santa breed pivot on for years to come.
Rosevale Take 2- T214 (P)
A powerhouse young sire purchased from Rosevale in 2023 for the second top price of the day.
Dark, deep, polled and with a hindquarter you have to see to believe. The first of his progeny were born in 2024 and will sell in 2026. They are consistent and will make a real impression.
Growth and EMA EBV data both in the top echelon of the breed, but his fat and fertility data are almost as impressive. Another curve-bender sire with indexes in the top 1% of the breed.
Rowenlea Rudolf R56 (P)
Purchased privately from Rowanlea in 2021. A dark, slick coated bull with a lovely hindquarter. The first of his calves were sold in 2024, and in 2025 a son Gyranda Viagra V266 (P) topped the sale, selling for $60,000 to Rosevale and Biara Studs. These calves have driven a set of data that places Rudolf in the top 5% for growth and indexes.
Gyranda Shepherd S568 (P)
A first drop son of Greenup Pascal P356 (PP) and one of the best young sires that we kept in 2022.
Slick coated, with a tidy sheath and carrying growth and EMA data in the top 10% of the breed. A similar data set to his sire, but with a lighter coat colour. 88% morphology. Sadly he died after his second season, but those calves selling in 2026 present very well.
Gyranda Spinifex S220 (P)
This is a bull more of the traditional santa type. Large framed, dark and carrying the loose skin many are looking for.
The first of his progeny sold in 2024. His daughters are especially noticeable for their consistency of style.
Plenty of performance as well. Growth, fertility and IMF data, all in the top 10% of the breed.
Gyranda Ultimatum U224 (AI)(PS)
A young sire with breed leading fat data combined with excellent growth and fertility. The first of his progeny are hitting the ground in late 2025.
Lighter in coat colour with a slick coat and tidy sheath.
This is the bull you utilise for a specific job. If you are hoping to improve your MSA readings on the kill sheet, but don’t wish to sacrifice growth, fertility or style then Ultimatum is a perfect choice for your program. All indexes in the top 1% of the breed.
Cree Jackaroo Q122 (AI)(P)
The top priced bull at Cree’s 2020 sale, he oozes style and character. The first of his sons sold at the Gyranda Sale in 2023 with Lot 10: Gyranda Tequila T672 (P), selling for the equal top price of $28,000. This is a sire holding a well balanced EBV dataset with excellent growth, fats, fertility and a quiet disposition. Of special note is his low birthweight EBV making him the ideal bull for use across heifers. In a multi-sire mating he sired 41 calves in ’21 and 65 in ’22. Reflective of his 89% morphology.
Gyranda Paymaster P156 (P)
A homegrown sire from a long line of proven low birthweight/ high growth genetics.
He was pulled him out of the 2019 sale…and we have not regretted it. His sex drive is something else! 96% morphology, he sired 60 calves as a two year old in a multi-sire herd with three older sires. He sired 48 calves in ’21 and another 42 in ’22. Growth data is solid but his Birthweight EBV data is extraordinary. Moreover he delivers a consistent, medium framed, well muscled and very stylish calf. We kept two sons as sires in 2022 and another in 2023. A safe bet for heifers delivering medium framed, but well muscled and growthy calves.
Greenup Pasqual P356 (PP)
The top priced bull at Greenup/Eidsvold Station sale in 2019. This is an explosive performance sire in a compact package and PP to boot. Growth and EMA EBV data has him in the top 1% of the breed, but in a shift from the norm both fats and fertility data are also very good. 87% morphology, siring 41 calves in ’22. The first of his sons sold at the Gyranda sale of 2023 with a top of $85,000 for Gyranda S202(P).

Gyranda Longshot L110 (AI) (P)
Available for export to the USA and South America. Gyranda Longshot is an early maturing poll sire with excellent growth, massive muscle, a slick coat and superb sheath. His combination of proven low birthweight, high growth calves has drawn considerable attention from some of the country’s best cattlmen. In 2019 his first crop of calves sold to top the Gyranda sale ($16,000) and average $10,500.
Rosevale Democrat G268 (P)
Available for Export to South America. Rosevale Democrat is a clean coated poll bull with excellent sheath who consistently delivered some of the best calves in our herd. He is an early maturing bull with great muscling. Democrat is a PH Poll bull and most of his calves are polled.
Rowanlea Duntroon D24 (P)
Duntroon was purchased from Rowanlea in 2009 and has had a marked influence on the Gyranda herd.
Many of our most fertile and productive female lines trace back to this bull.
Possessing a great tropical coat. He throws consistent calves that regularly classify. Once again this is a bull for a specific purpose. If you are needing to rapidly lift the fertility of your herd whilst maintaining a tropical coat and traditional Santa style he is the ideal candidate.
